Cave Hotel and Golf Resort

We had a lovely stay here! Alex (the front of house) was so accommodating and even offered us complimentary late check out the head chef at the fire pit restaurant came out to us after our meal and asked how we thought it was, we had a good chat which was really nice. Spa was amazing and rooms were beautiful too.. I can’t wait for our next stay here!

Lovely romantic break with hubby. Started with brilliant front of house staff Alex and Ashley. Could not do enough to make us feel welcome and their bubbly yet professional attitude continued throughout our stay. Rooms are lovely and beds are like sleeping on clouds. Had dinner at the Firepit. Very impressive, again the staff and their lovely warm personalities made the meal. Extremely clever culinary dishes. Particularly impressed with the complimentary pork soup and the Apple ice. Only points to not there were a couple of small maintenance issues with firepits throughout the hotel not working fully and flashing throughout out swim and meal. Also not enough loungers in the spa. Neither point would prevent us booking again.

Wow what more can i say about the cave,,ive stayed in 5 star hotels in london especially the savoy this mirrors a 5 star hotel experience..it was a special occassion for myself and my partner he is golf mad and loved the round of golf he played so much with a gentleman that plays on the course every week,, The staff where amazing at a last minute decision myself and my partner wanted to go to Canterbury for the evening and asked for a taxi and they arranged one to take us and bring us back to the hotel..the front of house staff respected us acknowledged us and were very helpful nothing was a problem.One member of staff who was so much fun was Johnny he was such a kind hearted helpful member of the team, we ate in both restuarants and again the food and service was outstsnding. Regards to all at the cave for making us very welcome and our stay truly amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cave and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food and drinks were delicious, the bed was insanely comfortable, and the overall experience was very relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly! Loved the decor and overall vibe. We also loved being able to enjoy drinks in the spa. My only small complaints were the drinks were a little overpriced, two cocktails plus service tax came to £33. We also did notice some discarded pieces of gum by the pool, which wasn’t very pleasant. And like other reviews, the spa is pretty small. Maybe a booking slot system would help overcrowding? Regardless of that we loved it here and would definitely return!

Wow!!! ..what a beautiful place ..my son had his birthday here the food was outstanding Benjamin went out of his way as I'm very fussy no problems at all. Brandon and the lovely young ladies that served us were truly amazing.we then went to the Korean cowgirl part where my son had his birthday cake the staff are just brilliant Alex Chloe and the bar staff in fact all who served us and made my son's birthday special a massive thank you!! I work with nurses who have said positive comments about this place and I can see why ...well done the cave !!!! ..

This hotel was such a nice break for us! 10/10 experience. The spa was amazing and so relaxing, staff at reception (Alex) and cleaners were so friendly. Food at the fire pit restaurant was incredible and lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend the in room massages- Sarah and holly were phenomenal, will be coming back soon!

Honestly one of the nicest hotels I have ever been too. The staff were so lovely and was such a personal service, when we came in we felt extremely welcomed and was checked in early. The room for stunning and lived up to all expectations we used the pool with tablets to order drinks the steam room and sauna was extremely nice having late access to the pool was so nice and was an extremely relaxing and private area. We also had a meal at the Korean cowgirl restaurant and had a lovely meal with incredible service. I would love to thank the room service and around care for our needs with breakfast in bed and and immediate room service. It was an extremely nice overnight getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday with personal touches of handwritten chocolate. Thankyou, so much to the team for giving us the perfect night.

⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve just come back from another fantastic 3-night stay at The Cave for our anniversary — it’s become a yearly tradition for us, and every visit just gets better! The food was absolutely top-notch as always, and having room service felt like such a treat. Our dog was made to feel so welcome too, which really means a lot to us. The golf course is brilliant, and there’s such a great choice of restaurants — the Sunday roast especially was incredible. A special mention has to go to Johnny on reception — he was absolutely outstanding. His customer service was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He’s such a credit to the team — friendly, professional, and genuinely fun to chat to. We felt so comfortable knowing we could ask him for anything and he’d make it happen. Can’t wait to come back again next month — thank you for another amazing stay!
